As part of the working visit of the Hungarian delegation to Uzbekistan, the ‘‘Uzatom’’ Agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary and the company ‘‘MVM EGI Zrt.’’ signed a protocol recording the agreements reached on a number of key areas of cooperation in the NPP construction project, the press service of the ‘‘Uzatom’’ Agency reports.
The document provides, among other things, for the use of dry cooling systems with mechanical traction, the preparation of technical and commercial proposals for the supply of equipment, the beginning of work on the creation of a joint venture in Uzbekistan for the organization of large-unit assembly of dry cooling systems, as well as the development of educational programs and internships by the Hungarian side.
The signing of the protocol was an important step towards expanding multilateral cooperation in the field of nuclear energy at the regional level.
