Prospects for economic cooperation between the regions of Uzbekistan and Fars province were discussed in Iran

Ambassador of Uzbekistan Fariddin Nasriev met with the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mining and Agriculture of the Iranian province of Fars Muhammad Sadiq Hamidian Jahromi, the correspondent of ‘‘Dunyo’’ news agency reports.

The meeting discussed the prospects for interregional cooperation in the fields of trade, economy, investment and tourism.

The Iranian side highly appreciated the modern development of Uzbekistan and the reforms being implemented in our country. Muhammad Sadiq Hamidian Jahromi said that he plans to visit our country in the near future as part of a business delegation.

The parties noted that during the meetings of the leaders of the two countries, special attention was paid to the development of mutual trade and economic relations.
