Presentation of Uzbekistan’s trade and economic potential was held in China’s Hainan Province

The Uzbek-Hainan (Chinese) Trade and Economic Forum was held in the Chinese city of Haikou, the correspondent of “Dunyo” news agency reports.

The event was organized with the assistance of the Consulate General of Uzbekistan together with the Committee for the Promotion of Foreign Trade of the Chinese Province of Hainan and youth organizations of our country.

The forum was attended by the heads of more than 100 local companies, economic organizations and educational institutions working in the fields of construction materials, electrical engineering, green energy, food products, textile industry, tourism and other industries.

Presentations on the potential of Uzbekistan in the trade and economic, investment, tourism and educational spheres, as well as on measures of state support for youth entrepreneurship were held for the forum participants.

During the B2B negotiations, issues of implementing joint events and promising projects in Uzbekistan were discussed.

Following the event, the World Youth Association of Uzbekistan, higher education institutions, as well as companies operating in the tourism and construction sectors, signed more than 10 cooperation agreements with chambers of commerce, industry and investment, as well as with large enterprises in Hainan Province.
