A round table was held at the MIIT to support and expand the export potential of domestic enterprises in the fruit and vegetable and food industries

On April 22 of this year, the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade held a round table on the topic of ‘‘Prospects for Supporting and Developing the Activities of Domestic Fruit and Vegetable and Food Industry Enterprises in Foreign Markets’’, the press service of the Ministry reports.

The event was attended by Deputy Minister Khurram Teshabaev, as well as heads of more than 130 fruit and vegetable and food industry enterprises in online and offline formats.

During the dialogue, the main focus was on discussing systemic problems that arise when exporting food and fruit and vegetable products, finding effective ways to solve them, and considering proposals from representatives of industry enterprises.

Following the round table, a decision was made to develop a draft of a corresponding regulatory document for a systemic solution to the problematic issues raised by entrepreneurs and the implementation of new initiatives.
