The first forum of retail trade and e-commerce was held within the framework of the International Forum ‘‘Central Asia Retail Week’’

On October 16 of this year, the first retail and e-commerce forum, organized with the support of the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade, was held in Tashkent as part of the International Forum of Electronic Commerce and Retail ‘‘Central Asia Retail Week’’, the press service of the Ьinistry reports.

The forum brought together more than 1.5 thousand participants, including business delegations from 9 countries, which indicates a high interest in the rapidly developing market of Uzbekistan and the region as a whole. The speaker was Deputy Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan Khurram Teshabaev.

In recent years, the volume of retail trade in Uzbekistan has exceeded $25.5 billion, which confirms stable economic growth and increasing international cooperation.

The forum participants discussed key areas, including the modernization of logistics infrastructure, deepening cooperation between manufacturers in the CIS countries and the introduction of new technologies in retail, such as artificial intelligence and geomarketing.

The forum has become a unique platform for exchanging experiences and establishing business contacts, with an emphasis on creating long-term partnerships and discussing new initiatives in the field of retail and e-commerce.
