Within the framework of this project, a working trip of the Uzbek delegation to Tokyo was organized with the support of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Japan.
The purpose of the visit is to study Japan’s experience in supporting small businesses, business incubators and mentoring systems.
A meeting was held with the Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JCCI) as part of the visit. At the meeting, the parties discussed issues of supporting entrepreneurship in rural areas, creating training and mentoring programs for youth and women, as well as establishing cooperation between entrepreneurs of the two countries.
JCCI provided information on the activities of advanced incubators and public-private partnership models in Japan. The Uzbek side expressed interest in adapting this experience to the programs implemented within the framework of the project.
At the end of the meeting, agreements were reached on the development of mutual cooperation, organizing seminars and exchanging experiences.
