Perspective areas of economic cooperation were discussed in Frankfurt am Main

Representatives of the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in the city of Frankfurt am Main held talks with the vice-president of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) of the city of Hanau Salih Tasdirek and a member of the board of the association of entrepreneurs “MÜSIAD Hessen e.V.” Musa Aydin, the correspondent of “Dunyo” news agency reports.


During the meeting with the Consulate General, the diplomatic mission provided detailed information on political and socio-economic reforms in Uzbekistan, ongoing work on preferences for foreign investors, liberalization of tax and customs requirements, scientific and intellectual potential of the republic, raw materials and diversified industrial base, as well as the tourism potential of our country. Separately, it was emphasized that the ambitious and large-scale reforms carried out by the President of Uzbekistan made the country attractive for businessmen and travelers, giving the republic an exceptionally new image of a reliable business partner and an interesting tourist destination.

Salih Tasdirek and Musa Aydin stated that the Turkish diaspora in Germany is sincerely pleased with the achievements of Uzbekistan, and expressed hope for further strengthening of ties by establishing fruitful cooperation in both economic and cultural areas.

An exchange of views took place on the development of bilateral mutually beneficial cooperation and the establishment of a direct dialogue between business representatives to explore the possibility of implementing joint investment projects and organizing expert supplies of Uzbek products to Germany.

The parties expressed their readiness to create a permanent platform for expanding direct contacts through joint industry business forums and tourism fairs.

An agreement was reached to organize in December, with the assistance of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, an information evening dedicated to the investment and tourism potential of Uzbekistan.
