ON APPROVAL OF AN INTERNATIONAL TREATY

In accordance with Article 22 of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On International Treaties of the Republic of Uzbekistan”:

1. Approve the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on the mutual exemption of holders of diplomatic and special passports from short-term visa requirements, signed on April 15, 2024 in the city of Tashkent.

2. Designate the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as the competent authority responsible for the implementation of this international treaty.

3. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs shall send the Saudi side a corresponding notification about the implementation by the Republic of Uzbekistan of the internal state procedures necessary for the entry into force of the specified international treaty.

4. The Cabinet of Ministers and the heads of the relevant ministries and departments, after the entry into force of the specified international treaty, in the prescribed manner, ensure control over the implementation of its provisions.

5. Control over the implementation of this resolution is entrusted to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan A.N. Aripov and Secretary of the Security Council under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan V.V. Makhmudova.
