ON APPROVAL OF THE REGULATION ON THE PROCEDURE OF ACCREDITATION AND THEIR ACTIVITIES OF REPRESENTATIVE OFFICES OF FOREIGN COMMERCIAL ORGANIZATIONS ON THE TERRITORY OF THE REPUBLIC OF UZBEKISTAN
Ensuring the implementation of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan from July 24, 2021 № DP-6269 “On measures to improve the infrastructure of public services and expand opportunities for the use of public services”, as well as in order to improve the approval of regulations on the order of accreditation and their activities of representative offices of foreign commercial organizations in the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan Cabinet of Ministers decides:
1.Approve Regulations on accreditation representative offices of foreign commercial organizations on the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the procedures for their activities, in accordance with Annex 1, providding the following:
rights and responsibilities of the state body authorized on accreditation of representative offices of foreign commercial organizations) on the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan (hereinafter – representative offices of foreign commercial organizations;
the procedure for accreditation of representative offices of foreign commercial organizations
the procedure for accreditation of foreign employees of representative offices of foreign commercial organizations;
the procedure for the establishment and termination of representative offices of foreign commercial organizations;
2. The Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan within two months should:
together with the Ministry of digital technologies follow accreditation process of representative offices of foreign commercial organizations through the Center of public services and the Single Interactive Portal of Public Services giving the opportunity to leave an application in a foreign language without an electronic signature on the portal;
submit to the Cabinet of Ministers a proposal on amendments to the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On State Duty”, aimed at improving the procedure for collecting state duty for accreditation of representative offices of foreign commercial organizations;
3. Declare certain decisions government of the Republic of Uzbekistan according to Annex 2 considered as no longer legally valid.
4. This decision shall come into force within three months after its official announcement.
5. The control over the implementation of this Decision shall be assigned to the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan J.A. Hodjaev and the Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade L.Sh. Kudratov.
