The German multinational investment bank Deutsche Bank is considering the possibility of allocating $1 billion for the implementation of projects in the Namangan region, Spot reports, citing the press service of the regional khokimiyat.
On November 14, the khokim of the Namangan region, Shavkatjon Abdurazakov, agreed with the executive director of Euler Hermes, Thomas Baum, to provide local enterprises with preferential loans from German banks. It was also possible to reach a preliminary agreement with Deutsche Bank on the opening of credit lines to finance investment projects in Namangan.
Deutsche Bank CEO Jörg Bongarz also invited Namangan banks to attend the council meeting in the UAE. In addition, a joint commission will begin working in the spring of 2024, which will prepare for the German-Namangan business forum.
