Prospects for mutually beneficial cooperation with Incheon International Airport Corporation were discussed.

During his visit to the Republic of Korea, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev met with Kim Bom-ho, Acting President of Incheon International Airport Corporation, the press service of the head of our state reports.

Discussions focused on the progress of projects to modernize Urgench International Airport and construct a new international airport in Tashkent.

Support was expressed for Incheon International Airport Corporation’s plans to open an office in Tashkent. A proposal was made to establish a center of competence at this office, focusing on airport management, digitalization, and personnel training.

The Korean side emphasized its readiness to continue active participation in joint projects, implement best practices and technologies in airport management, and expand its long-term partnership with Uzbekistan.
