The President of Uzbekistan received a delegation from France

According to the press service of the President of Uzbekistan, on November 27, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received French Transport Minister Philippe Tabaro, who arrived in Tashkent to participate in the Trans-Caspian Corridor Investor Forum.

At the beginning of the meeting, the distinguished guest conveyed warm greetings and best wishes from French President Emmanuel Macron to the head of state.

The parties discussed issues of further deepening the strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and France, particularly in transport and logistics, in the context of the agreements reached during the historic high-level visit to Paris in March of this year.

Particular attention was paid to enhancing cooperation in civil aviation and training highly qualified specialists in the transport sector, including at the recently established Uzbek-French University.
