Uzbekistan and Portugal have outlined new areas of trade and economic cooperation.

An online meeting was held between Nodir Ganiev, the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Paris, and Armindo Monteiro, President of the Portuguese Confederation of Entrepreneurs, the correspondent of “Dunyo” news agency reports.

During the meeting, the current state and prospects for developing trade and economic cooperation between Uzbekistan and Portugal were discussed.

Particular attention was paid to expanding cooperation in investment, industrial cooperation, agriculture, information technology, logistics, and tourism.

Opportunities for promoting Uzbekistan’s export potential in the Portuguese market were also discussed. In this context, the initiative to organize a “Made in Uzbekistan” trade and economic event in Porto was discussed.
