The President of Uzbekistan received the chairman of the leading Chinese company “Amer International”

On October 17, as the part of a working visit to the Beijing city, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received the Chairman of the Amer International industrial holding Wang Wenying at the residence allocated for him, the press service of the head of our state reports.

As one of the leading Chinese conglomerates, Amer International carries out projects in the fields of high technology, electronics and semiconductor industries, mining and processing industries. The company is included in the global Fortune 500 rating. Has a portfolio of active projects in China and abroad with a total value of over $60 billion.

Wang Wenying noted that the ongoing reform program in Uzbekistan creates favorable conditions and opens up wide opportunities for the activities of foreign companies, in particular Chinese.

It was emphasized that the company considers our country as the main direction of business in the Central Asia region.

Promising projects for deep processing and production of sought-after innovative copper products with high added value, including electrical goods, batteries for electric vehicles, microelectronics and semiconductors were discussed.

An agreement was reached on the participation of the chairman of Amer International in the work of the Council of Foreign Investors and the opening of a regional office in our country, as well as the adoption of a road map to accelerate joint innovation projects.
