Russian company will help Uzbekistan in developing logistics routes

These days, Fesco, the large Russian transport group, held negotiations with the management of “Uzbekistan Railways” JSC and “‎Uztemiryulkonteyner” JSC, the press service of the Trade Representation of Russia in Uzbekistan reports.

In particular, the parties agreed on cooperation in terms of:

• development of container transportation between Uzbekistan and Russia;
• joint work on new transit routes through Kyrgyzstan to China and through Turkmenistan to Turkey, African and Mediterranean countries using FESCO intermodal services;
• creating direct container traffic between Tashkent and Moscow;
• FESCO’s participation in the development of the transport infrastructure of the republic and potential projects in the field of digitalization of the logistics industry of Uzbekistan.
