The Ambassador of Uzbekistan Karomiddin Gadoev met with the President of the National Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers So Thian Lai, the correspondent of “Dunyo” news agency reports.
The Malaysian side was informed about the opportunities created in our country for doing business and investment partnerships. Taking into account the industrial potential of the two countries, issues of processing agricultural products and implementing joint projects in the fields of food, electronics and electrical engineering, chemistry, pharmaceuticals, building materials and green energy were discussed. They also discussed establishing mutually beneficial cooperation with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan.
Following the meeting, an agreement was reached to attract potential Malaysian partners to participate in the next Uzbek-Malaysian business forum, which will be held on May 18 in Samarkand.
In the future, it was decided to hold a presentation of the favorable investment environment and promising investment proposals in Uzbekistan with the participation of companies that are part of the Federation.
The National Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Malaysia was founded in 1962 and includes the 5 largest chambers of commerce and industry.
The Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers was created in 1968 to improve the competitiveness of the country’s industry and now represents the interests of more than 3 thousand manufacturing and service companies.
