The Deputy Minister of Investment, Industry, and Trade held a meeting with the Head of the Legal Department for Private Equity and Investment Funds at the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (DFC)

Akram Aliyev, Deputy Minister of Investment, Industry, and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, held a meeting with Jonathan Taylor, Head of the Legal Department for Private Equity and Investment Funds at the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (DFC), the press service of the MIIT reports.

During the meeting, the parties discussed avenues for expanding investment cooperation between Uzbekistan and the United States, strengthening the strategic partnership with the DFC, and promoting high-potential investment projects.

Particular emphasis was placed on the establishment of a Joint Investment Platform, the identification of priority projects within its framework, and the development of corresponding financing mechanisms.

Following the dialogue, the parties agreed to maintain joint efforts aimed at further advancing the bilateral investment partnership.
