The Deputy Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade held a meeting with a representative of the World Economic Forum

On 15 September, Deputy Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan Akram Aliyev held a meeting with Dietrich N. John, a representative of the World Economic Forum, the press service of the Ministry reports.

The parties explored opportunities to further strengthen Uzbekistan’s presence across the Forum’s platforms, including by promoting the country’s ongoing reforms, investment opportunities and promising economic initiatives among leading international companies and financial institutions.

The discussions also covered opportunities to enhance the participation of Uzbek companies in Forum activities and to develop direct ties with global business leaders, investors and strategic partners.

The parties reaffirmed their readiness to leverage the potential of the World Economic Forum to strengthen Uzbekistan’s position in the global economic agenda and expand engagement with the international business community.
