The Minister of Investments, Industry and Trade held a meeting with Executive Director for Business and Project Development at Masdar

On October 6, Minister of Investments, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan Laziz Kudratov held a meeting with Abdullah Mohammed Abdullah Zaid, Executive Director for Business and Project Development at Masdar, the press service of the MIIT reports.

The meeting focused on the current state and prospects of cooperation in the renewable energy sector, as well as the implementation of new investment projects in Uzbekistan.

Masdar’s portfolio in Uzbekistan comprises 9 renewable energy projects with a total investment volume of $4.2 billion and a combined capacity of 4.8 GW.

Particular attention was paid to accelerating projects in solar energy and energy storage systems, as well as developing new promising projects in these areas.
