An “Investor Support Center” will be created

The Decree of the Government “On additional measures to accelerate innovation and investment activities in the regions of the republic” was adopted (No. 606 of 15.10.2022)

In the cities of Nukus, Bukhara, Jizzakh and Namangan, phased construction of technoparks in the form of the Inno technopark built in Tashkent is planned in 2023-2026.

According to the Decree, the main tasks of technoparks are:

• attracting talented youth, students, researchers, faculty to innovative activities in the technopark;
• organization of business incubators, experimental sites in the technopark;
• development, implementation and financing of start-up projects of initiative youth;
• conducting trainings and master classes with the participation of representatives of leading foreign companies, experts.

A Center for Perspective Projects and Engineering will be created within the structure of the Center for Investment Projects.

An “Investor Support Center” will be created under the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade.

The Center is authorized to resolve issues at all levels based on an innovative approach, providing support to investors and entrepreneurs on the principle of a “one stop shop”.
