Uzbek diplomats yesterday organized a visit to the Picanol company, as well as a meeting with its sales manager, Tony Dekok, the correspondent of “Dunyo” news agency reports.
According to the Embassy of Uzbekistan, Picanol Group is a diversified industrial group operating in the field of engineering, agriculture, food processing, water management and other industrial markets. The company is based in Ypres (Belgium), part of the Picanol Group and is engaged in the development, production and supply of high-tech looms, based on air (pneumatic) or rapier technology. It offers services for installation and commissioning, service and after-sales service, supply of spare parts and accessories, as well as training of specialists.
During the meeting, an exchange of views took place regarding the modern development of bilateral cooperation between a manufacturing company and Uzbekistan, trends for further building up mutually beneficial contacts, new supplies of modern looms to enterprises of the republic.
As a result of the meeting, an agreement was reached to maintain contacts on a regular basis, exchange information regarding the placement of orders for Uzbek textile companies, and participate in the upcoming Tashkent Investment Forum.
