Private business is invited to transport passengers by rail

According to the report of Spot, the “O’zbekiston Temir Yo’llari” company has announced a competition among entrepreneurs who plan to establish commuter train traffic.

The selection is carried out as part of an experiment to involve the private sector in the organization of passenger transportation. The pilot project is included in the “road map” for the development of tourist transportation, approved in April.

First of all, businesses are invited to manage flights on the Tashkent-Bostanlyk route. According to the road map, the launch of private transportation in this direction is scheduled for July 31.
