The business forum “Days of German Economy in Uzbekistan” and the 10th meeting of the Uzbek-German Business Council took place

On May 18, Tashkent hosted the “German Economy Days in Uzbekistan” business forum and the 10th Uzbek-German Business Council meeting, the press service of the MIIT reports. The events opened with welcoming remarks from Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov, Knauf Group Executive Partner Uwe Knotzer, German Eastern Business Association Director Michael Harms, and German Ambassador Manfred Huterer.

Deputy Minister of MIIT Akram Aliev addressed a session on German enterprises and moderated Uzbek business presentations.

The forum centered on strategic cooperation and vocational training, featuring prominent state and corporate participants. The council meeting, moderated by Michael Harms, focused on investment opportunities in the automotive, IT, geology, and manufacturing sectors, featuring presentations from key entities including Volkswagen, Schwarz Digits, Henkel, CLAAS, Control Union, Telc, Ernst Klett Sprachen, Schneider Group, GIZ, Wilo, and UzautoSanoat, Procab, Akfa group, IT Park. The day concluded with bilateral B2B negotiations.
