Delegation from China’s Guangdong Province will visit Uzbekistan for talks on expanding interregional cooperation

The Consulate General of our country held talks with the delegation headed by the Deputy Head of the Office of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the People’s Assembly of Guangdong Province Wang Tianlian, the correspondent of ‘‘Dunyo’’ news agency reports.

During the meeting, the Chinese side was provided with information on the opportunities created in the economic and social sphere of Uzbekistan, improving the business environment, attracting investments and increasing the export potential of local enterprises.

The delegation of Chinese businessmen was invited to Uzbekistan to get acquainted with the capabilities of our country.

The Chinese side noted that manufacturing companies of Guangdong Province are interested in expanding economic ties with Uzbekistan. It was emphasized that our countries have established deep cooperation on the Great Silk Road, and today it is necessary to achieve further practical results. In this context, the Committee is always ready to promote the expansion of interaction between entrepreneurs of the two countries.

At the meeting, the parties agreed to organize a visit of the provincial delegation to Uzbekistan in order to hold relevant negotiations on expanding interregional cooperation.
