An Uzbek delegation held a business forum in Tochigi Prefecture, Japan

The “Business Opportunities and Human Capital of Uzbekistan” forum was held in Tochigi Prefecture, Japan, the correspondent of “Dunyo” news agency reports.

Over 110 representatives from major Japanese companies, recruiting agencies, and government organizations participated in the event. The forum presented Uzbekistan’s investment and economic potential, the country’s human resources capabilities, measures to prepare young people for the demands of the international labor market, and reforms in the area of ​​labor migration.

During the visit, a meeting was also held with Tochigi Prefectural Governor Tomikazu Fukuda. The parties discussed the further development of interregional cooperation in trade, economic, cultural, humanitarian, tourism, and educational spheres.

Following the forum and negotiations, a number of agreements were reached on attracting qualified labor from Uzbekistan to various sectors of the economy, as well as expanding cooperation in personnel training and human capital development.
