The Ambassador of Uzbekistan Karomiddin Gadoev met with the founder and general director of ‘‘FIVE Petroleum Malaysia’’, King Lim Chin Fui, the correspondent of ‘‘Dunyo’’ news agency reports.
At the meeting, investment opportunities in Uzbekistan and issues related to the implementation of projects in the Samarkand region were discussed.
The Malaysian entrepreneur expressed his readiness to establish cooperation with enterprises operating in our country for the production of soft drinks and the supply of aluminum containers for them.
An agreement was reached to begin implementing a project to create a network of gas stations and equip them with modern equipment in the city of Tashkent, and subsequently in other regions of the republic.
At the meeting, it was decided to organize a visit of a company delegation to Uzbekistan next month.
‘‘FIVE Petroleum Malaysia’’ was founded in 2020. The company currently operates more than 110 petrol stations across Malaysia. The company also owns 60 percent of ‘‘BHPetrol’’, which has more than 400 gas stations.
