Economic ties between the Bukhara region and China’s Hunan province are expanding

As part of the Bukhara region delegation’s visit to China, a business forum titled “Bukhara-Hunan Trade, Economic, and Investment Cooperation” was held in Changsha, Hunan Province, jointly with the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Guangzhou, the correspondent of Dunyo news agency reports.

The event was attended by the heads of the provincial Committee for the Promotion of International Trade, the departments of foreign affairs and trade, and approximately 200 leading companies from the region, operating in the construction materials, pharmaceutical, electrical, and agricultural sectors.

Presentations were given to participants on the socioeconomic reforms being implemented in the Bukhara region, as well as its trade, economic, investment, and tourism potential.

The Chinese side noted the potential of the Bukhara region and the favorable business conditions created in the region, expressing interest in expanding cooperation.

During the G2B and B2B negotiations, prospects for joint investment projects in the Bukhara region in the areas of construction materials production, pharmaceuticals, electrical engineering, smart agriculture, and urban development were discussed.

An agreement was also reached to conduct a series of business missions by leading provincial companies to the Bukhara region.
