The Emirati company will consider the possibility of implementing joint projects in Uzbekistan

Ambassador of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Akkulov met with the CEO of the Emirates company ‘‘OneRoad Group’’ Chenling Zhang, the correspondent of ‘‘Dunyo’’ news agency reports.

At the meeting, the diplomat presented information about the current development of Uzbekistan, its investment and economic potential, protection of investors’ rights, as well as promising projects planned for implementation on the basis of public-private partnership until 2030.

The Emirates side noted that it welcomes the changes and large-scale reforms being implemented in Uzbekistan. Interest was expressed in entering the market of our country and jointly implementing promising investment projects.

During the meeting, the possibilities and prospects for cooperation in the field of agriculture were discussed.

Following the talks, an agreement was reached to organize meetings of representatives of this company with the Association of Exporters of Uzbekistan to discuss plans for the development of cooperation. The Emirates company was also invited to take part in the business forum ‘‘Uzbekistan – UAE’’, which will be held in Tashkent on October 13-16.
