Khokim of Fergana region met with co-founder of Turkish company ‘‘Senomed International’’

The khokim of Fergana region, Khairullo Bozorov, met with Nurkan Toksoy, co-founder of the Turkish company ‘‘Senomed International’’, the press service of the regional khokimiyat reports. The meeting was also attended by entrepreneur Bilal Shirin, who actively promotes cooperation between entrepreneurs of the Fergana region and Turkey.

A year ago, ‘‘Senomed International’’ began cooperation with the Meridian Clinic in Fergana, investing $ 2 million in organizing a clinic for the treatment of eye diseases. The necessary primary equipment was supplied, and patients are currently undergoing treatment.

At today’s meeting, organizational issues related to the supply of the second set of new equipment for the clinic were discussed. Nurkan Toksoy noted that he had witnessed the wide opportunities created in the field of healthcare in Fergana, and said that his company had also begun to take measures to create all the necessary conditions for the treatment of patients. He noted that laser equipment for the eyes had not yet been delivered to Uzbekistan and would be introduced to Fergana for the first time. Professors in the field of eye diseases will be involved in training in the skills of working with this equipment. The idea of ​​holding an international scientific and practical conference on eye diseases after the completion of the project was also voiced.

The khokim thanked Nurkan Toksoy for attracting investments and providing assistance in treating patients with eye diseases using modern medical equipment, promising to provide all the necessary assistance to obtain new equipment.

The meeting also discussed investments in the construction of modern hotels and promising projects in the field of agriculture in the region.
