Iranian pharmaceutical holding expressed interest in implementing joint project in Uzbekistan

Ambassador of Uzbekistan Fariddin Nasriev took part in online negotiations between the Director of the Agency for Development of the Pharmaceutical Industry of Uzbekistan Abdulla Azizov and the Chairman of the Board of the Iranian company ‘‘Golrang Pharmaceutical Investment Co’’ Kasim Ali Ashoftex, the correspondent of ‘‘Dunyo’’ news agency reports.

During the negotiations, the prospects for implementing a project for the production of pharmaceutical and medicinal products in Uzbekistan with the participation of an Iranian company were discussed.

‘‘Golrang Pharmaceutical Investment Co’’ presented a presentation on the creation of an enterprise that will produce painkillers in Uzbekistan.

The Iranian side was provided with information on reforms being implemented in the pharmaceutical and medical sectors in Uzbekistan, benefits and opportunities offered to foreign companies, as well as pharmaceutical free economic zones operating in the regions of our country.

Following the negotiations, the Ambassador of Uzbekistan Fariddin Nasriev invited the delegation of ‘‘Golrang Pharmaceutical Investment Co’’ to take part in the Uzbek-Iranian business forum, which is planned to be held on September 10 in the Khorezm region.
