Chinese company plans to implement investment projects in Fergana in the field of alternative energy production

A meeting with representatives of the Chinese wind and solar power plant company ‘‘Longyuan Power Group’’ was held in the Fergana regional khokimiyat, the correspondent of ‘‘Dunyo’’ news agency reports.

According to the press service of the regional khokimiyat, the meeting discussed the Chinese company’s investment in large energy projects in Fergana.

‘‘Longyuan Power Group’’ designs, builds and jointly manages wind, solar, geothermal, tidal, gas, coal and biomass power plants. At the same time, it sells electricity to grid companies and other consumers, sells energy equipment and coal. It provides assistance in the repair and maintenance of power plants, wind turbines and other equipment.

At the meeting, the regional leadership recognized the company’s advanced experience and achievements in the energy sector and noted the prospects for cooperation in the field of installing solar panels in the region and installing chargers for solar batteries for large enterprises.

As part of the cooperation, a proposal was made to build compact substations in the regions of the region, and information was provided on industrial zones operating in the region, including the industrial zone ‘‘Shursuv’’. To consider the practical aspects of implementing the initiative, specific officials were identified who, together with company representatives, will study the industrial zone and begin work on promising projects.
