The Ambassador of Uzbekistan Karomiddin Gadoev visited the headquarters of the Malaysian company ‘‘Hextar Global’’, located in the city of Klang in the state of Selangor, and held a meeting with the head of the company Erwan bin Tahir, the correspondent of ‘‘Dunyo’’ news agency reports.
At a meeting with specialists from the Malaysian company, issues of mutual cooperation with ‘‘Hextar Group’’ and ‘‘Hextar Global’’ were discussed.
The head of the company was informed that Uzbekistan has created a favorable business environment for investors, including in existing free economic zones, and there are also a number of benefits for connecting to infrastructure. It was noted that conditions have been created for foreign investors to register business projects in a short time through a “single window”.
Also, proposals for the joint implementation of promising investment projects in the chemical industry in various regions of Uzbekistan were presented to the Malaysian side for study.
The head of the company shared plans to further expand the scope of its activities through the implementation of joint projects in other countries in the context of the rapid globalization of the world. A representative of the company said that it is ready to consider proposals for participation in the implementation of projects based on public-private partnerships in Uzbekistan, including investments in renewable energy projects such as hydropower and wind power, as well as telecommunications projects.
At the meeting, the ‘‘Hextar Group’’ group of companies agreed with the Ministry of Energy to explore the possibilities of cooperation of ‘‘Uzkimyosanoat’’ JSC in the field of the chemical industry and green energy and to organize a visit of company representatives to Uzbekistan.
During the meeting, the production activities of the ‘‘Chempro Technology’’ enterprise, part of the ‘‘Hextar Global’’ company, were presented.
‘‘Hextar Group’’ was founded in 1985. The group is an international conglomerate, which includes 8 large companies in the fields of chemistry, energy and telecommunications. ‘‘Hextar Global’’ is part of the ‘‘Hextar Group’’ of companies and includes 15 enterprises producing a wide range of chemical products.
