President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the NovoPlast TPE facility in the Chirchik Chemical Industrial Technopark, the press service of the head of our state reports.
The project was implemented in collaboration with the Russian company VR Plast and covers an area of 4,200 square meters. The total cost of the project is $5.4 million.
The facility boasts a modern laboratory and innovative production lines. Currently, the company is among the domestic market leaders in the production of thermoplastic elastomer granules and finished products made from them.
The facility manufactures high-quality thermoplastic elastomers, door and window frame seals, hoses for the technical and food industries, and various polymer products for the construction and electrical engineering industries.
The key advantages of the products are their high strength, resistance to deformation, and resistance to environmental influences. These properties make them widely used in construction, automotive, food, and electrical engineering.
The facility also includes a modern research center. Here, new thermoplastic elastomer formulations are being developed, taking into account the requirements of the Asian and European markets. Finished granules, seals, and high-pressure hoses are also tested to ensure compliance with international standards.
The company has created 58 new jobs. Last year, it produced goods worth 103 billion soums. In addition, it exported products worth $5 million.
Another important achievement of the company’s activities is its contribution to import substitution. Specifically, in 2025, it produced import-substituting products worth $8.5 million.
Going forward, the company plans to increase production volume to 177 billion soums and increase its share of exports to 60 percent. Implementation of these plans will allow the company not only to meet the needs of the domestic market but also to further strengthen its position in Central Asian and other international markets.
