The Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade held a meeting with President for Europe and Africa of the U.S.-based company Air Products

On 24 January, the Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Laziz Kudratov, held a meeting with Ivo Bols, President for Europe and Africa of the U.S.-based company Air Products, the press service of the MIIT reports.

The discussion focused on the current status and future prospects of joint investment projects. Particular attention was given to the launch of the American Makerspace in Qarshi, an innovative educational platform aimed at advancing STEAM disciplines.

The project is designed to support education, foster creative and critical thinking, and develop technical skills that are increasingly in demand in the global economy.

The meeting confirmed the parties’ mutual interest in further deepening their strategic partnership and implementing projects that contribute to the country’s sustainable economic and technological development.
