MIFT – “Kingspan Group Plc” (Ireland): priority areas of cooperation in the field of investment in the building materials market

On September 6 this year, at the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade, with the assistance of the consulting company International Development Ireland (IDI), a meeting was held between Deputy Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade Khurram Teshabaev and the Managing Director of Kingspan Insulated Panels (in the Middle East, Africa, Turkey and Central Asia) by Jim Lochran. From the IDI side, the project manager, Paul Sheehan, took part.

During the meeting, the building materials market in the region and support for the development of this market by the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan were discussed as part of the implementation of investment projects to increase the level of production of building materials.

The parties considered the issue of investing in the production of building materials, in particular energy-saving insulating panels and their subsequent sale in the region of the republic.

Following the meeting, the parties confirmed their readiness to intensify interaction on cooperation and continue joint work in all areas discussed in order to achieve concrete results aimed at improving the quality of building materials. The company is ready to localize products in Uzbekistan and supply innovative and energy-saving materials to large-scale infrastructure projects in the country.
