In Uzbekistan, the largest number of enterprises with foreign capital falls on the industrial sector

The State Statistics Committee has published data on the number of enterprises in Uzbekistan with the participation of foreign capital.

The total number of enterprises with foreign capital, as of May, 1 is 13,877, of which 6,117 are joint ventures and 7,760 are foreign enterprises.

In terms of industries, the largest number of enterprises with foreign capital – 4117 – operates in industry, in trade – 4038, construction – 1136, agriculture, forestry and fisheries – 708, in the areas of accommodation and food services – 569, information and communications – 474, transportation and storage – 371, health and social services – 216 and others – 2248.
