Prospects for Cooperation Discussed with Representatives of Türkiye’s Anadolu Group

On June 11 of the current year, a meeting was held between Bora Koçak, President of the automotive group “Anadolu Group”, and Jamshid Qo‘chqorov, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan – Minister of Economy and Finance, according to the report of the Information Service and Communications Department of the Ministry of Economy and Finance.

The meeting was attended by Neshet Fatih Vural, CEO of “Samarqand Automobile Plant” LLC JV, acting Deputy Minister of Investments, Industry and Trade Akrom Aliyev, Director of the State Assets Management Agency Sohibjon Murodov, as well as other responsible officials.

For reference: “Anadolu Group” is one of the largest business groups in Türkiye. The company operates in retail, beverages, agriculture, automotive, energy, industry, and other sectors. The group is distinguished by its international operations, production experience, research and development capacity, and diversified business portfolio.

During the talks, the parties focused on further enriching economic cooperation between Uzbekistan and Türkiye with practical content, particularly promoting new projects in the automotive industry, efficiently utilizing existing production capacities, and expanding investment initiatives.

The meeting also included an exchange of views on increasing production capacities, diversifying product ranges, strengthening localization levels, and developing industrial cooperation. These areas were emphasized as being of key importance for expanding the production of high value-added goods.

The discussions also covered issues related to the gradual expansion of the private sector’s share in the economy through privatization processes. The parties also considered the development of joint initiatives in new перспективе areas, attracting advanced management experience and modern technological solutions, and deepening industrial cooperation with local enterprises.

At the end of the meeting, both sides expressed their readiness to continue consistent cooperation and maintain regular dialogue aimed at achieving practical results.
