Issues of development and expansion of bilateral trade, economic and investment cooperation discussed

On 9 June this year, the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan Davron Vakhabov met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Turkey to the Republic of Uzbekistan Olgan Bekar. 

During the conversation, the parties noted that trade, economic and investment cooperation is an important component of bilateral relations between Uzbekistan and Turkey.

At the event, the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Davron Vakhabov focused on the fact that today additional opportunities are being created for the development of mutually beneficial and long-term relations between business representatives of Uzbekistan and Turkey.

The Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey also focused on the partnership between Uzbekistan and Turkey, centuries-old fraternal ties between peoples and growing cooperation in various fields. During the talks, issues of development and expansion of bilateral trade, economic and investment cooperation in the current year were discussed.

In turn, the Turkish side highly appreciated the pace of socio-economic development of Uzbekistan in recent years and the country’s activity in expanding trade and economic relations with foreign countries.
