Bilateral documents aimed at further expansion of mutually beneficial cooperation between Uzbekistan and Germany were signed

According to the results of fruitful negotiations held in the city of Samarkand, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the Federal Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany Olaf Scholts adopted a joint declaration, the press service of the head of our state reports.

In general, within the framework of the official visit, 8 bilateral documents were signed, in particular:

– Intergovernmental agreement on a comprehensive partnership in the field of migration and mobility;

– Intergovernmental declaration of cooperation in the field of veterinary medicine and livestock;

– Intergovernmental declaration of cooperation in the field of sustainable use of water resources as part of the ‘‘Green Central Asia’’ initiative;

– A joint declaration of cooperation in the field of critical minerals;

– Agreement on cooperation in the field of transport;

– Memorandum of cooperation in the field of climate change under the Paris Agreement.

In addition, a Program on technological partnership and industrial cooperation was adopted for 2024-2026, as well as a package of agreements and contracts at the level of leading enterprises of Uzbekistan and Germany.
