Polish Pronar plans to produce agricultural machinery in Uzbekistan

The Ambassador of Uzbekistan Bakhrom Babayev visited the Podlaskie Voivodeship, where he met with the Chairman of the Board of the leading Polish company Pronar, Sergiusz Martinyuk, the correspondent of Dunyo news agency reports.

The Ambassador of Uzbekistan was familiarized in detail with the production processes, facilities and manufactured equipment. During the talks, the diplomat provided information on the modern development of the agricultural sector of our country and its potential, plans for the development of this industry, including in cooperation with foreign investors.

The head of the company announced plans to invest in the phased creation of agricultural machinery production in Uzbekistan. This decision was made due to the presence in our country of many types of raw materials – metal, glass, plastic, rubber and others, a good production base for mechanical engineering, as well as the high demand for agricultural machinery in the countries of Central Asia.

In the near future, a group of company specialists will arrive in Tashkent to inspect the production base, select areas and draw up an entry plan. In addition, for a more successful implementation of the investment project and mastering the intricacies of the production process, labor organization and production planning, the Polish side intends to organize an internship at the largest plant in the city of Narew for 10 specialists from Uzbekistan for a period of 3 to 6 months.

At the end of the meeting, representatives of the Polish company were invited to the Tashkent International Investment Forum, which will be held on April 19-20. The Polish side expressed its readiness to take part in the event.
