The potential of Uzbekistan was presented in the Japanese prefecture of Ehime

The Embassy of our country organized a presentation of the trade, economic, tourism and investment potential of Uzbekistan in the Japanese prefecture of Ehime, the correspondent of “Dunyo” news agency reports.

The event was attended by representatives of Japanese organizations and companies operating in the region.

Taking into account the interest of the Japanese side, information was provided on the possibilities of our country in the textile industry, the system of training labor resources under the program of “technical internship” and “skilled worker”.

During the presentation, Greenbox President Yoriko Fujii shared her impressions of her visit to Uzbekistan, where she emphasized that there are great business opportunities for the introduction of business by Japanese business circles in Uzbekistan.
In this context, she emphasized the openness and hospitality of the Uzbek people and the country towards foreign guests and businessmen.

As part of the working trip of diplomats to Ehime Prefecture, negotiations were held with Nihon Shokken President Ozawa Kazuhiko, who is the head of one of the most successful Japanese food companies and the largest manufacturer of sauces and seasonings in Japan. The company’s annual revenue exceeds 1 billion US dollars.

The President of the Japanese company expressed interest in importing export-oriented spices, seasonings and spices of the highest quality from Uzbekistan for use in the preparation of sauces, as well as products of national handicraft and folk arts and crafts.

During negotiations with the President of the Greenbox company Yoriko Fujii and the head of the golf club Matsuyama Seaside Country Club Nobutada Fujii, the prospects for cooperation in various fields with Uzbekistan were discussed. In particular, at the suggestion of the Uzbek side, the companies will consider the possibility of holding a golf championship of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Tokyo to promote information about our country among the business circles of the prefecture, organizing golf tours in Tashkent and Matsuyama, jointly with JETRO employment of Uzbek citizens in Japanese companies, opening branch of Uzbek universities in Japan.

As a result of the negotiations, an agreement was reached to hold separate bilateral meetings with representatives of Japanese organizations and companies showing interest in developing business in Uzbekistan and attracting labor resources to Japan, as well as providing assistance from the diplomatic mission in organizing visits of representatives of Japanese companies to our country.
