Representatives of Uzbekistan and Malaysia discussed expanding exports of Fergana products

Representatives of Uzbekistan met with the management of “KK Super Mart”, one of Malaysia’s largest retail chains, the correspondent of “Dunyo” news agency reports.

The meeting was attended by Sherzod Yuldashev, head of the regional office of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan; Azimjon Yuldashev, deputy head of the Fergana Regional Department of Investment, Industry, and Trade; and representatives of relevant agencies and entrepreneurs.

The parties discussed expanding the range of imported goods, logistics, and product placement formats within the chain’s stores. Particular attention was paid to products available at the Fergana Trade House in Singapore.

Following the meeting, a preliminary agreement was reached to sell Fergana products in KK Super Mart stores, which will open up new export opportunities for regional producers and expand their presence in Southeast Asian markets.
