On September 18, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received a delegation of the Russian Federation consisting of Deputy Prime Minister Vitaly Savelyev, Advisor to the President of Russia Igor Levitin and Chairman of the Board of ‘‘Russian Railways’’ Oleg Belozerov, the press service of the head of our state reports.
At the beginning of the meeting, members of the Russian delegation conveyed sincere greetings and best wishes to the head of our state from the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.
The issues of practical implementation of the agreements reached during the summit meetings in Tashkent on May 26-28 this year were discussed.
Particular attention was paid to the adoption of coordinated measures to develop effective transport corridors in the region.
The importance of accelerating industrial cooperation projects in transport, further expanding partnerships in the field of automobile, rail and air communications, as well as training highly qualified engineering personnel was noted.
