The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan received the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation

On October 24, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received a delegation of the Russian Federation headed by Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Industry and Trade, Co-Chairman of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission Denis Manturov.

The main results of the commission’s work were considered, including the promotion of mutually beneficial cooperation projects in the trade, economic and investment fields.

The importance of further increasing the volume of mutual trade, implementing cooperation projects in industry, the fuel and energy complex, chemical, pharmaceutical, textile, food and other industries was noted.

An agreement was reached on the preparation of a bilateral program to expand practical partnership between leading enterprises of Uzbekistan and Russia.

Particular attention was paid to the continuation of the productive activities of the joint Project Office, support for business initiatives and interregional exchange projects.
