The importance of expediting the project to build a combined-cycle power plant in the Syrdarya region, given the growing demand for electricity, was noted.
Particular attention was paid to priority projects such as the construction of a multidisciplinary hospital, a new international airport in Tashkent, a wind farm, and others.
Support was given to initiatives to modernize medical clinics and preschool and basic education facilities, create a cross-border “green” energy corridor, upgrade gas compressor stations in the country’s regions, and the corporation’s participation in the creation of a special economic zone for Japanese investors.
