The President of Uzbekistan discussed plans for developing a strategic partnership with ‘‘Air Products’’

On August 20, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received the President and CEO of ‘‘Air Products’’ Seifi Ghasemi, the press service of the head of our state reports.

The practical aspects of further expansion of mutually beneficial strategic cooperation with one of the leading international companies actively investing in the creation of high-tech industrial enterprises in Uzbekistan were discussed.

Currently, the portfolio of joint projects with ‘‘Air Products’’ in our country has exceeded 2.5 billion dollars.

Agreements were reached on the implementation of innovative projects in the field of deep processing of hydrocarbons and the production of chemical products, the introduction of advanced technological solutions in agriculture, as well as the training of highly qualified specialists for the energy and chemical industries.
