Extension of Mutually Beneficial Cooperation with Leading Companies of Tatarstan Is Important for Uzbekistan

On October 11, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received a delegation under the leadership of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.

The issues of expanding practical partnership with Tatarstan and promotion of joint innovative projects in important sectors of economy were thoroughly discussed.

The first results of mutually beneficial cooperation at the leading companies and enterprises were positively noted.

The scale of cooperation within the chemical-industrial technopark «Chirchik» is expanding in Tashkent Region. In particular, 16 investment projects are being prepared and implemented.

According to the adopted “Road map”, the prospects of deepening cooperation and implementing projects in mechanical engineering, production of innovative chemical products, low-tonnage chemistry and oil refining, agriculture, IT-sector have been discussed.

A particular attention is paid to the implementation of joint business projects in the regions of Uzbekistan, including Jizzakh and Tashkent Regions.

The agreement on implementing programs in education, training and upgrading the staff qualification in technical specialties was reached.
