The President of Uzbekistan received the Chairman of the Board of the company ‘‘ACWA Power’’

As part of the annual meeting of the Board of Governors of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received the co-chairman of the Uzbek-Saudi Business Council, Chairman of the Board of the company ‘‘ACWA Power’’ Muhammad Abunayan, the press service of the head of our state reports.

The issues of further expansion of practical cooperation with Saudi Arabian companies, including the implementation of joint investment projects, were discussed.

The head of our state noted the successful partnership with ‘‘ACWA Power’’ in the implementation of large-scale projects, as well as the key role of the company in attracting Saudi investments to our country.

An agreement was reached to accelerate the implementation of joint projects in the development of energy, transport, information technology, healthcare, modernization of heat supply networks, water, agriculture and other areas.
