Fruitful ties have been established between the legislative bodies of Uzbekistan and Turkey.
The importance of further development of inter-parliamentary relations, active participation of friendship groups and specialized committees in shaping the agenda of Uzbek-Turkish cooperation and ensuring control over the implementation of agreements at the highest level was emphasized.
Particular attention was paid to promoting investment programs and stimulating tourism, business and educational exchange.
The prospects for interaction between parliaments within the framework of international structures, in particular the Organization of Turkic States, were also discussed.
