At the invitation of the Servant of the Two Holy Mosques – the King of Saudi Arabia Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will visit the city of Jeddah on July 18-19 this year to participate in the first Summit of Heads of State in the format “Central Asia – Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf”. This was reported by the press service of the head of our state.
The upcoming high-level meeting provides for the participation of the leaders of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Kingdom of Bahrain, the State of Qatar, the State of Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, the Sultanate of Oman, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Republic of Tajikistan and Turkmenistan, as well as the Secretary General of the Council.
In accordance with the agenda, issues of developing interregional cooperation in the political, trade, economic, investment, cultural and humanitarian spheres will be considered. An exchange of views on topical aspects of international and regional politics will take place.
A number of bilateral meetings are planned to be held within the framework of the summit.
